Matcha latte is the quintessential matcha tea drink in the West. More and more people are replacing their cup of coffee with milk with matcha latte because, in addition to providing energy, it contains a high amount of antioxidants.
HOW TO PREPARE MATCHA TEA?
Ingredients
- 200 ml of milk or vegetable drink
- 80 ml of water
- 1 g of 100% organic matcha
Preparation
1Heat 80 ml of water to 80°C and 140 ml of milk. Pour 1 gram of matcha into a glass or bowl. You can use a sieve to avoid lumps.2Add a small amount of hot water to the bowl (just enough to cover the matcha) and whisk with an electric or bamboo whisk until a thin layer of foam forms.3Pour the hot milk (about 140 ml) into a cup and stir in the matcha.4If you wish to sweeten your matcha latte, add a pinch of brown sugar or any other sweetener.
